I was messing around with recording and decided to plu my line out on my amp to the microphone jack on the mobo. sadly after messing with it for a bit i discovered that the sound no longer worked at all. Ive tried reinstalling the sound driver, reverting to the old one and putting the original one from the cd one. none of these options worked. the speakers work fine and when i still had nv mixer it showed activity in the VU meters. Now that im back with the realtek control pannel i see that the microphone sensing shows an error and shows the hook up as a stereo line in. with a red exclamation mark next to it. I dunno what the problem is but it may be that the line out from the guitar, im pretty sure, carries a 120W charge with it for signal. (the amp is a 120W) i dunno whats wrong but any ideas are more than welcome.
